Friends and Family,

Inspired Living is committed to the safety of our residents and staff. We are pleased to announce that by March 19, all of our communities will have completed their second vaccination clinic.  By partnering with CVS and Walgreens, we were able to vaccinate nearly 90% of all residents.

Recent announcements may have caused some confusion as to the protocols for visitation and departure. It is important to note, Inspired Living communities are licensed and regulated by the department of health. We follow CDC guidelines to mitigate the spread of the virus and have modified our protocols for visitation and trips outside of the community following recent CDC updates. Highlights:
  1. Each resident can only have two guests AT A TIME; visits must be scheduled in advance; and the length of visits is limited to allow for cleaning between visitors. Visitors under the age of 18 can visit if they are able to comply with social distancing and PPE requirements.
  • General visitation will take place in designated areas, with social distancing, and only after a health screening is completed.  
  • General Visitors will be allowed in-resident room visitation provided they wear full protective wear purchased through Inspired Living.
  • All visitors must wear masks both indoors and outdoors. General visitors who stay in designated areas may provide their own masks and do not need to wear surgical masks or protective wear.
  • Essential Care & Compassionate Designated Caregiver rules have not changed. As they are in direct contact with residents, these caregivers must present a negative COVID-19 test taken within 14 days of first visit and must use protective wear supplied by Inspired Living to ensure infection control.
  • If a resident/staff member tests positive for COVID-19, indoor generalvisitation will cease for 14 days. Residents and responsible parties will be notified via call-em all immediately.
  • Regardless of a community’s COVID-19 status, outdoor visitation may continue.
  • Departure Protocols:
    • Residents leaving the community for medical appointments must wear a face mask, if tolerated.
    • All residents must be screened upon return to the community.
  • Vaccinated residents are not required to quarantine if they meet ALL the following criteria:
    • Two weeks have passed since their second or final vaccination.  
    • Less than 90 days have passed since their second or final vaccination.
    • They are asymptomatic since any potential COVID-19 exposure.

Clermont COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic 2 Update

Dear Clermont residents, friends, and families,

Thank you for the incredible response to our first vaccination clinic! The second clinic takes place on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. If your loved one did not receive a vaccine at the first clinic, Clinic 2 is the last opportunity to receive the first dose of the vaccine at our community during Phase 1A.

As a reminder for the vaccine administration:

  • Clinic 2 is on Tuesday February 2 – This is the final opportunity to be inoculated in the Phase 1A group. The CVS team will return to provide the second dose for those who had their first dose in Clinic 1 and will initiate the first dose of the vaccine for those who did not receive the initial inoculation.
  • Clinic 3 is on Monday, February 22 – Those who received their first dose in Clinic 2 will receive their second dose at this clinic. No new doses will be initiated during Clinic 3.

COVID-19 Vaccinations Update (January 2021)

Friends, families and Residents of Inspired Living and Superior Residences,

We are thankful to be turning the corner and celebrate the availability of COVID-19 vaccinations in our communities.  We also recognize the danger in letting our collective guard down. There is nothing we want more than to see you and your loved ones enjoy life’s simple pleasures again.  We understand the burden of social distancing weighs heavy on you and your families. 

That said, we continue to operate on high alert and must adhere to local and state guidelines as they relate to the virus.  We continue to operate at heightened concern and caution.  Even though most of our residents are receiving vaccinations, these vaccinations do not make them immune; there still is a small chance that our most vulnerable loved ones can get the virus even after immunization. For those who have been vaccinated, the CDC still strongly recommends wearing a mask, continued social distancing and a focus on good hygiene, including regular and thorough handwashing.

We all have a responsibility to help keep our communities safe.  To this end, we ask that you consider the health of all our residents and limit outings to only those that are medically necessary. If you or a loved one choose to take a trip outside of the community, please exercise the same protocols that we have in place within our communities. If you or your loved one discover that you may have been exposed to COVID-19, please be sure to alert your community’s Executive Director immediately. This alerts us so that we can test your loved one and mitigate potential spread of the virus. Further, if you believe you may have been exposed, we ask you to get tested so that you can take proper precautions to isolate and prevent further spread. Remember – if one resident tests positive, the entire community needs to be quarantined for two weeks.

Vaccination Announcement

This message is urgent and important.  Please give this your immediate attention.

Friends, families, and residents of Superior Residences at Clermont.

We are very happy to announce that Superior Residences at Clermont residents WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO RECEIVE the Covid-19 Vaccine on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.  For the safety of our Moms and Dads, all residents should get the vaccine, however, we must have your consent! 

Please email your approval for your loved one to have the vaccine to – [email protected] as soon as possible.  We must catalog all consenting residents and responsible parties to be able to schedule the vaccination.  

In the email we need you to include your full name, resident or loved one’s name, apartment number AND expressed approval for your loved one to have the vaccine.  Please also include a current cell phone number so we can easily touch base in the event of questions.

The schedule is as follows:

  • Tuesday January 12 – CLINIC 1 on site team will be at Superior Residences at Clermont to start vaccination
  • We will be receiving the documentation/authorization to be filled out by our residents/staff. Superior Residences at Clermont team will have documents for the Walgreens site team.
  • Tuesday February 2, 2021 – CLINIC 2, team will be back to administer the second dose. On this day, those who did not get the first vaccine can get their initial dose. 
  • Tuesday, March 2 – CLINIC 3, the second dose for those who received initial dose during CLINIC 2. NO NEW FIRST DOSES WILL BE GIVEN at this time
